Questions practice owners ask
Practice website FAQs
How much does a medical practice website cost?
Practice Website Basic is $149/month for 12 payments ($1,788 total), or $1,490 upfront, for 5–7 pages. Website Plus is $299/month for 12 payments ($3,588 total), or $3,000 upfront, for 8–12 pages. Both include hosting, security, and basic maintenance for the first 12 months. Custom integrations and additional scope are quoted before work begins.
Do I own my website, and what happens after 12 months?
You own the completed website after full payment, subject to third-party software and asset licenses. Your practice should control its domain and core accounts. Hosting and support after the first 12 months are separate: we confirm renewal costs and options in writing rather than assume an unpublished rate. You may discuss continued support or moving to another provider.
How long will a new website or redesign take?
Timing depends on page count, content readiness, clinical review, and any integrations. We agree on a build schedule after reviewing the scope. Your team’s approval of services, provider credentials, photos, and appointment instructions is part of that schedule; we do not publish unapproved clinical claims.
Will a new website bring in more patients or rank first on Google?
A clear mobile site can make it easier for prospective patients to understand your services and contact your team. Basic technical and on-page SEO establish a foundation; ongoing local SEO is separate. We cannot guarantee rankings, inquiries, booked appointments, or revenue.
Can you keep our domain and existing content during a redesign?
Yes, when they are suitable and your practice controls them. We review useful pages, existing URLs, search traffic, and account access before changing the structure. If a URL changes, we plan redirects and check important contact paths so a redesign does not unnecessarily discard useful work.
Is a practice website automatically HIPAA compliant?
No. Compliance depends on the practice’s operations, data flows, vendors, agreements, and safeguards. We separate public information from clinical intake, link to approved patient portals, and avoid asking for medical details in ordinary contact forms. Forms, booking tools, hosting, and tracking that handle protected health information need the practice’s compliance review and appropriate agreements where required.
Can my team edit the site, and how are revisions handled?
The site uses editable WordPress content. We agree on responsibilities, review rounds, launch approval, and training in the written scope. Basic maintenance does not imply unlimited redesigns, new pages, or integrations. Additional changes and any paid software are identified and priced before approval.
